In a 1.9m euro deal, Dalco Nitrogen systems will be providing Bombardier Aerospace in Belfast with Nitrogen Gas Generating systems for the new technologically advanced CSeries commuter airplanes. The deal will save Bombardier Aerospace approximately 1m pound sterling per year when compared with the alternative of buying bulk nitrogen.

Dalco Nitrogen Systems have custom built their largest nitrogen generating system for Bombardier Aerospace, which will be used in the manufacture of the wings of the CSeries family of jet aeroplanes.

Of the deal Managing Director John Daly commented,

“It really is an honour to get this business with Bombardier Aerospace on their new CSeries family of jets. It is our biggest project yet and Bombardier Aerospace are now our most important customer. We look forward to a long business relationship with Bombardier Aerospace and wish them well with the production of the CSeries”.

The nitrogen system will also save Bombardier Aerospace substantially on CO2 emissions over the alternative nitrogen source of bulk nitrogen.
